An awesome start with a 3 set grueling battle between Socrates and Plato.
Plato won 2 - 1
In other match of the day,
between Archimedes and Copernicus,
Copernicus won 2-0

so, finally the tournament is on and it is fantastic that it started in style, two very good close matches, and whatever was written in earlier emails is now visible during the games. great work guys.

Hey It was bad to loose a starting game for us but after all an exciting and thrilling day it was.Had a great fun and lots of ups and downs too.:-)
An ideal start for the tournament.With the three setter in the first match that too last set ended at 16-14.Great comeback for Plato after losing the first set.In this tournament very important to win points rather than relying on the mistake of opposite team as everyone mastered to cross the ball with one touch.
Copernicus seems to be strong and favorites for the semis.But other teams seems to be surprise package.Looking forward for Saturday's match.
It is always fun to have activities along with work . I love 'em..
The style of arranging and publishing tournamets have improved over the years and it feels to good to know about it.

I was part of the first eVolleympics and enjoyed the thrill and excitement.
This time I am missing it very much.

Both Opening games were great entertainer for Audience and for teams as well..!!!
About 1st Match,
Being in PLATO , I found it little tiring to play three sets and last one...relly LOOOOOONG one..
in Last 30-45 mins both teams were looking exhausted...
bUt on a whole it was a good opening for OUR team....
Keep ROCKing PLATO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the key for WIN in this tournament will be "Stemina" as we are playing it in midst of AHMEDABAD SUMMER.......
